Therapy for anxiety & overwhelm
Anxiety can feel like constant mental noise you can’t quiet—racing thoughts, persistent “what ifs,” and a sense of pressure that doesn’t fully let up. It often shows up as worry, overwhelm, or a feeling of being on edge, even when nothing is immediately wrong.
We provide anxiety therapy for chronic worry, stress, panic, and emotional overwhelm, helping you understand what your anxiety is doing and how to respond with more clarity and steadiness.
How anxiety shows up
Chronic worry or overthinking
Panic, fear, or emotional overwhelm
ADHD- or autism-linked anxiety
Perfectionism and over-functioning
Burnout and emotional exhaustion
Physical or somatic symptoms of stress
Fear of disappointing others
Life transitions that create uncertainty
Our approach to anxiety therapy
Who this work is for
Anxiety often develops as a form of protection—it’s trying to anticipate, prepare, or prevent something from going wrong. Over time, that system can become overactive, leaving you stuck in cycles of worry, urgency, or reactivity.
Our work focuses on helping you understand how your anxiety functions and how it shows up in your thoughts, body, and behavior. From there, we work to interrupt patterns that keep you stuck and build a more steady, flexible way of responding.
In our work together, we will:
Identify the patterns and triggers driving your anxiety, such as burnout and stress, trauma, or life transitions
Map how it shows up in your thoughts, body, and daily life
Shift cycles of catastrophic or looping thinking
Build skills for regulating your nervous system
Develop practical ways to manage overwhelm and reduce reactivity
We integrate ACT, CBT, IFS, and relational approaches, adapted to how you think, feel, and process experience.
This work may be a good fit for you if:
You feel constantly on edge or mentally “on”
You struggle to slow down your thoughts or relax your body
You notice patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, or over-responsibility
You feel overwhelmed by decisions, expectations, or uncertainty
You want more clarity, calm, and control in how you respond to stress
